This week has been hectic and I feel a little exausted, but I am hopeful. We have discovered a drug target and a potential therapy for delaying the progression of Wolfram syndrome. We sill need some work to bring the drug to our patients. There is still no guarantee that this will work in patients. We should keep on developing other drugs and stem cell-based therapies. I see many hurdles in front of us, but will keep on clearing it one by one. I feel that today is the beginning of the next step. I look forward to visiting the University of Birmingham Medical Center and meeting with Wolfram patients in the UK.
Thank you for reading this. I hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving.
